Position: Creative Strategist/Graphic Designer

Company: PhilmCo Media: A double-bottom-line media company that merges philanthropy and filmmaking into a unique model of development, financing, production, distribution, and marketing of purposeful films, documentaries, and other entertainment.

Project: Redesigning the PhilmCo website

Problem: PhilmCo wants to convert their visual brand from B2B to B2C to appeal to consumers and potential investors alike. They wanted a younger and more vibrant visual identity that gets viewers and potential consumers excited about the projects they roll out.

Solution: After brainstorming brand identity strategies with the CEO and the Creative Director, I created a brighter and bolder color scheme. I streamlined the layout of the About Page so it is easy to read. I used graphics that were compelling and engaging—that leave the viewer wanting to know more about the story behind the photo. I made the mission clear and concise through strategic text layout and bold font and color. I am currently redesigning the site page by page. This is the first installment of many.
